Design can enable participatory community development by creating the proper context, tools and dynamics to involve everyone who feels “part of_” and in “need of_”, in order to promote the creation of our own solutions.

Universities should partner with communities in order to give them tools to learn on taking responsible decisions when intervention models like Corporate Social Responsibility or well-fare programs come in, avoiding the manipulation of the community by this programs. Universities should facilitate this by articulating the different stakeholders involved.
